Classes
Our youngest dancers do not require a placement class prior to registering. These young students are placed into their class level by their birthdate.
Styles of Dance Offered: Creative Movement, Classical Ballet & Tap
Ages: Toddler through age 6
Class Levels: Dance with Me, Little Steps, Dance Discovery, Level 1
We place dance students ages 7-12 in a class that is age appropriate and skill level appropriate. If a student is an absolute beginner, they would attend a class designed just for them. But if your child has been dancing for awhile, a member of our faculty will need to schedule a class placement evaluation to determine the best possible class level for your child.
Styles of Dance Offered: Classical Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Variations, Jazz Dance, Contemporary Dance, Tap & Musical Theatre
Ages: Ages 7-11
Class Levels: Absolute Beginner, Beginning and Intermediate Levels 2-5 Curriculum
Dance students ages 12+ in a class that is age appropriate and skill level appropriate. We offer teen classes for absolute beginners, students with limited experience, and classes for the pre-professional level dancer. Please contact the office to arrange a class-placement appointment if your student has previous dance experience. There is no charge for a class-placement appointment.
Styles of Dance Offered: Classical Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Variations, Pas De Deux, Jazz Dance, Contemporary Dance, Tap & Musical Theatre, Conditioning for dancers, Pilates, & special dance workshops throughout the season.
Ages: Ages 12+
Class Levels: Absolute Beginner, Beginning, Intermediate, & Advanced & Pre-Professional Levels 6-8 Curriculum

Class Levels: Absolute Beginner, Beginning and Intermediate Levels of Dance
Collierville Arts Academy offers martial arts classes for ages 4 through adults. We have our own unique martial arts training system that utilizes techniques from Shotokan, Goju Ryu Karate methods for our Tigers Karate system of training. We also offer BattleMasters padded weapons, kickboxing, and self-defense training.
Styles of Martial Arts Offered: Karate, Padded Weapons, Kickboxing, & Self-Defense
Ages: Ages 4-Adults
Class Levels: Absolute Beginner, Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Levels in Little Tigers Karate, Tigers Karate, BattleMasters, with belt and sash rankings white - black belt levels.
All new fencers begin with our Learn to Fence Intro Short Course. Equipment is provided for this introductory one-time workshop style class. Following this class, students will be allowed to attend the age-appropriate fencing class to further improve in the sport.
Intermediate and Advanced fencers may join the Memphis Fencers club for additional practice and seasonal tournaments.
Styles of Fencing Offered: Foil, Epee, and Sabre Fencing
Ages: Ages 10+
Class Levels: Absolute Beginner, Beginning, Intermediate, & Advanced Levels
Collierville Arts Academy offers fine arts classes through short courses year round. Our Fine Arts Classes are offered for children through adults at a variety of skill levels. All materials are included in our Fine Arts course fees.
Styles of Fine Arts Lessons Offered: Drawing, Painting (watercolor, acrylic), Sculpture, Cartooning, Anime, Mixed Media, and More
Ages: Ages 5-Adults
Class Levels: Absolute Beginner through Advanced Levels

Collierville Arts Academy offers acting and personal development classes for students ages 7 through teens. Our classes prepare students for the stage, school musicals, TV Commercials, and public speaking through short courses year round.
Styles of Acting & Personal Development Offered: Intro-Acting, Acting 101, Drama, Comedy, TV Commercial, Audition Preparation, Runway & Personal Introduction, and Pageant Preparation
Ages: Age 6-17
Class Levels: Absolute Beginner, Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced
Collierville Arts Academy offers academic small-group tutoring services for homeschooling families in a variety of areas including math, science, history, grammar, and more. Our advanced degreed, professionals offer a small group learning environment and provide homeschool tutoring services for students in grades 5-12 in a variety of subjects.
Areas of Academic Tutoring Offered In: Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I/II, Geometry, World History, US History, TN History, Earth Science, Physical Science, Physics, Chemistry, Personal Finance, Art History, and more.
